Welcome
With a foundation in Cognitive Science, Political Science, and an NIH-funded PhD in neuroscience, my journey has been deeply rooted at the intersection of technology and human understanding. My professional trajectory has been marked by significant contributions to open source and emerging technologies. From building scalable computing solutions for the US Airforce to developing cybersecurity operations for carbon-efficient supercomputing, I've been recognized for driving security-first standards across major developer ecosystems globally. I became certified for Rapid Prototyping in 2017, and tailer that practice specifically to technical and operational readiness for every group I work with.
A few of my notable achievements includes working with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and the US Airforce, where I played pivotal roles in developing scalable Kubernetes systems to support intelligence models. My open source collaboration with the Linux Foundation on large-scale interventions, like the CNCF Security Slam, has further solidified my reputation in the field. These experiences have equipped me to found GadflyAI, a cybersecurity consulting firm uniquely positioned at the nexus of memory-safe best practices, open source intelligence (OSINT), and human-centered communication. Through GadflyAI, we offer specialized consulting services that resonate with sectors like clean energy, non-profit, and social justice. I've also dedicated time to communities that matter to me: I spent 4 years as a tribal ambassador in the San Diego region, working with 17 state and federally recognized tribal nations to organize community, and of course, an annual Pow-wow. I now serve as a Technical Adviser for OurWorlds, a native owned startup that preserves our living cultures with mixed and virtual reality. If you're in search of a certified consultant with a proven track record in cybersecurity, a profound understanding of emerging technologies, and a commitment to crafting actionable, human-centric solutions, you're in the right place. Next week, I'm talking at this event: |
Here's a bit about what I talk about.
